Adrian Councill, CSW
About Me
I have a passion for equipping people with tools and skills that best fit their needs to allow them to navigate life’s relational and emotional challenges and to empower them to advocate for themselves.

Adrian received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Social Work from Appalachian State University. During his education, he spent time in a field placement at an elementary and middle school working to provide emotional and social support to students. Within this field placement, he worked with a variety of students aged 5-13 and with neurodiverse children.
Adrian has a passion for equipping people with tools and skills that best fit their needs to allow them to navigate life’s relational and emotional challenges and to empower them to advocate for themselves. Adrian enjoys working with children, adolescents, young adults, and neurodiverse clients.
Adrian is trained in MENTAL HEALTH ASSESSMENT and COGNITIVE BEHAVIOR THERAPY (CBT).
Learning how to meet my own needs equips me best to help others meet theirs. I have found that stable relationships, positive habits, and most importantly faith allow me to ground myself well in all that I do.
In my spare time you can probably find me reading, swimming, gaming, or walking around my neighborhood with my wife and saying hello to all the neighborhood cats.
