About Me

Alyssa Prothero graduated with her M.S. in Marriage and Family Therapy from Fuller Theological Seminary. Originally with the intention of working in youth ministry, Alyssa received her B.A. in Communication Studies with a minor in Youth and Family Ministry from Azusa Pacific University. Alyssa has experience working with youth ages 7 and older as well as adults of all ages.

Alyssa is passionate about supporting families and individuals by developing skills that enable them to move forward from pain and find healing and peace in their relationships and in their lives.

It is important for my wellbeing to find time to slow down and prioritize my relationship with the Lord and with my husband. Reading my Bible, unplugging from technology, and being present with those I love helps restore my mind and my heart so I can best tend to those who need my support.

In my free time, I enjoy reading and writing as well as hunting down coffee and tea shops in search for the best Matcha Latte.
