About Me

Kenny provides counseling services at Hope Christian Counseling while completing his master’s-level training in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. He previously obtained a Master of Divinity through Liberty University and a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Studies from California State University of Sacramento. Kenny has over fifteen years of experience working with students and young adults in high school and college ministry, beginning in 2008.

Kenny has a passion for empowering individuals to find growth and healing and firmly believes in the power of God to transform people’s lives. He utilizes evidence-based approaches such as CBT and Solution-focused Therapy, integrating a Christian worldview into these treatment methods.

For my own mental health, I enjoy playing guitar, watching sports, and spending time with my wife and daughter, along with our slew of animals. Attending church and spending time with friends is also a great source of refreshment and rejuvenation for me.
